TO-DAY'S RECIPE
SALAD DRESSING. One tablespoonful of cornflour, 1 of mustard, 3 of white sugar, 3 tablespoonfuls of vinegar, 1 egg, uncooked. Mix the yolk in vinegar, and other ingredients; then boil until quite thick. Take off; add i teaspoonful of butter and the white of egg, beaten stiff, let it cool. When wanted, add milk to taste.
