NEW EARL OF EGMONT RANCHING IN ALBERTA

Ausit. Press Assn.—United Service. LONDON, Jan. 11. The death has occurred of the Earl of Egmont. Tho late Earl was born in New Zealand in 1858. He was a son of the late Mr. Charles John Perceval. A message from Calgary (Alberta) states that Mr. E. J. T. Perceval, the row Earl of Egmont has been farming in the Priddis district for 26 years. He i 3 a widower and resides on the holding with his son, aged 14. Priddis is & remote hamlet cut olr from telephone communication at nights. The new Earl is 55 years of age. He married Cecelia, a daughter of Mr. Janies Burnsmoor, of Montreal, in 1911. His wife died in 1916. The new Earl stated to-day that he had no intention of dropping everything at the farm to take up the Pail* dom immediately.
