PARLIAMENT LUKEWARM TOWARDS TUNNEL PLAN
MAJORITY GIVES SUPPORT. United Press Association —By ElectrU Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 11. Sir William Bull, chairman of tho Channel Tunnel Parliamentary Committee, announces that 67 peers and 112 members of the House of Commons definitely favour tho project. Fortytwo peers and 11 members of the Commons oppose it and 24 peers and 80 members of the Commons are neutral.
