TIMBER IMPORTERS BUY FROM RUSSIA
£10,000,000 DEAL. United Press Association— By Electric Tolegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday. 7 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 5. Twenty leading timber importing firms in Britain have for tho first time combined to purchase _ the whole of their supplies of Russian timber for the coming season. The deal is estimated to run into at least £10,000,000.
