TRIGGER CAUGHT ON WIRE FENCE

YOUTH SERIOUSLY WOUNDED. Per Press Association. GREYMOUTH, Last Night. A shooting accident occurred at about 2.30 p.m. on Saturday at Moana to a youth, Ernest Richard Boddy,- aged eighteen, a pea rifle bullet entering his left breast. He went out to shoot a wild cat, having to step over a pig sty that is built across a wire fence. It is surmised one of the wires caught the trigger of his rifle, dischargingwt. Boddy was brought in an unconscious state to Greymouth hospital, where his condition to-day is reported to be rather less serious than was at first believed.
