Miss M. Webster of Herne Bay, Auckland is on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. David Bell, “Strathspey,” Kimbolton Road, Feilding.
Mrs J. Williamson, Waitunn, journeyed to Wellington at the beginning of the week to meet her husband who arived on New Year’s day by the Kemuera” from a trip to the Argentine.
Mr. and Mrs. Melville Andrews, Feilding, with their little son are spending a camping holiday at laupo.
Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Amadio, Rongotea, returned on Wednesday from a visit to Wellington and are at prosent staying in Feilding.
Miss Olive Gould of Wellington, also Mr. and Mrs. Don. Frazer and sons of Dannevirke, who have been spending the holidays with Mr. and MrA J. Gould, Campden ( street, Feilding, returned to their homes on Wednesday.
Miss E. Armstrong, Plunket Nurse,. Feilding, who next week will be journeying to Auckland on her annual leave, will bo relieved by Miss Rowe of Palmerston North.
Miss I. Hughes, dental nurse, is a Feilding visitor to Dunedin.
Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Levin “Wcstella” Feilding, are with their younger daughter, spending some weeks at their station “Riversdale,” Masterton.
Mrs. Richard Harper and family of West strot, Feilding, are staying for the holidays at their Plimmcrton residence.
Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Oxcnham, of Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North, have returned from a visit to Wellington.
A London cable reports the death of Lady Sheffield, sister of Sir Hugh Bell, the ironmaster, and mother of Lady Stanley Alderley.
Mr and Mrs H. E. Pacey, Miss Jean Pacey and Miss Laurenson arc leaving on a trip to the Old Country, and last evening Rev. J. Ernest Parsons took the opportunity at St. Paul’s Methodist Church of expressing the good wishes for a happy holiday abroad, assuring the voyagers also of a hearty welcome on their return home. During tho service Miss Pacey sang a solo.
