ADMITS HAVING HAD TWO WIVES
AWAITING SENTENCE ON BIGAMY CHARGE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 4. In the Magistrate’s Court, Albert Edward Herbert Yince pleaded guilty to a charge of bigamy and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The charge was that, having married Violet May Giddens at Otaki on September 6, 1923, he went through a form of marriage with Emily Marion Jewell at Hamilton on June 6, 1926. In a statement to the police the accused said that his wife cleared out from him. Ho married the second woman under the name of Robert Allan Burns, making out that he was a bachelor.
