The Jerusalem correspondent of tho Times reports that an Iraq Government defence force party was sent into the western desert and returned to Amman with a hostage, namely the son of the sheik, Beni Sukhar, who is head of tho tribe which recently raided Ibn Baud’s subiocts. Members of the party levied a heavy fine in camels. as an additional guarantee of good faith towards Ibn Saud.
