FEILDING SURPRISE PARTY
MRS GEORGE TURNBULL’S RESIDENCE. . The homo of Mrs .George Turnbull, “Glentoto,” at Ridgelands, was the scene of a surprise party on New Year’s Eve, When the young’'friends of the hostess and her son Jim spent a most enjoyable evening. The commodious home lent itself admirably to entertaining, and the daoca ; iWjthe picturesque drawing-room was much enjoyed. A- delectable supper- was dispensed, the tables being gay with gold and crimson roses. Mrs Turnbull wore a delightful picture frock fashioned with tight bodice and full drooping skirt the waistline being finished in ; front with a large bow centred with a diamante buckle.
