PLUNKET SOCIETY —MONTHLY MEETING
Tho usual monthly meeting-of tho Plunkct Society was held om .Friday afternoon. Mrs. Coombs presided, others present being Mesdames Murray,-Free, Mpunsey, Sinclair, Small, L...A. Abra-; ham, Spencer, Langley,‘Mansfofd, Eel-: ling, and the secretary; Mrs. Aitchison.. Apologies for absence were received from Miss M‘Lagan, and Mesdames Grigor, Watson, and Fairbrother. Mrs. Small was welcomed as a new member of the committee. -,
The report- showed that during the month 294 .homes had been visited. Five hundred and fifty-four adiilts, 448 babies, and 95 older children, a, total of 1097 had visited the office. Pour visits had been paid to Foxton where ten homes had been visited. Sixty-four adults had visited thp Foxton office and alsoGO babies and "26 older children.. Sales of emulsion had realised £43/0/9. Parcels of clothing were acknowledged from Mesdames Francis, Hickson, Bradsley, Gunter, Belling, and anonymous friends. It was reported that the rest room at the winter, show had realised £2l/13/-. Mrs.JCbomba.and Mrs. Aitchison and: two members of thC -'financo committee, yet to be elected) were appointed dcle-gates-.to -the annual conference.
