CANADA YIELDS ALL INTEREST IN PACIFIC CABLE
United Press Association—By Electrie Telegraph—Copyright, Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m. VANCOUVER, July, 20. Canada is relinquishing all interest in the Pacific cable. The major provision of the Cable and Wireless merger negotiated in England, Ottawa and London announce details simultaneously probably on Monday. Canady get? a generous 'cash consideration.. , It is understood the proposition has been eagerly accepted as there is no prospect of profit. The other provisions of the merge* affecting. Canada are not disclosed.
