ACCIDENT NEAR HAMILTON FATHER MARTINDALE, COMPANION, ALSO HURT Per Press Association. , - ■ V 1 AUCKLAND, Last Night. • The Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, Dr. Oleary, and rather . / Martindale, an eminent Jesulstwho is visiting New Zealand, Buffered Injuries in a motor collision while on their way from Taupo to Hamil* to to-day and are now in the Waikato Hospital. Dr. Cleary has a cut on the chin, and hie legs and chest are bruised., He is suffering considerably from shock. Father Martindale received cuts oi the face, which bled profusely. Tho car,' driven by Dr. Cleary, reach ed a corner leading to a declivity at Tamahero between Cambridge and Hamilton, when it collided . with anothet car, . driven by a farmer, A. E. Die combo. Both vehicles wore badly damaged. t i Discombe and a passenger, Miss Hulme, also suffered cuts ahd abrasion?. Dr. Cleary and Father Martindale. were attended by a local doctor-before; removal to hospital. ; ' . Tho full effect of the accident •on Dr. Cleary will not bo known for some days/' , ■./ ■ ;
