Nahas Pasha and tho full Wafd executive were determined to hold a prohibited meeting. The police restricted proceedings to a tea party with 60 guests. Stones were thrown, tho police clearing the streets and making ten arrests. Tho newspapers, Alahram and Wafda reserves'tho right to pursue the struggle for their country’s independence. The police have sealed up the Parliamentary buildings and placed a guard outside.
