FOXTON RACING CLUB BALL
The annual Racing Club ball, held,in the Town Hall on Thursday evening, was a huge success. There were visitors present from all parts of the district. The hall was prettily decorated in the club colours, blue and white, and the stage nicely arranged for those who did net participate ini the dancing. Green-, cry, coloured balloons, and electric light and silver festoons added to the festive appearance of the hall, and nicely set off the many, varied and pretty costumes of the womenfolk. Larkin’s orchestra’ provided excellent’ music, while the Roof was delightfully smooth. The catering arrangements reflected great credit on those' in charge. Novelties were introduced during the evening, and the squeakers, streamers, etc;, greatly added to the merriment of all. Dancing was indulged in until a late hour, when the assembly broke up, declaring the ball was the most, enjoyable of the season.
