Rain Developing Evening Forecast: A cyclone is centred north of Now Zealand and a low pressure disturbances covering the south Tasman Sea and south-east Australia have intensified to-day . Forecast: Moderate to strong south cast to north-east winds north of Westport and Kaikoura and northerlies elsewhere reaching gale force at places in the northern and southern districts; seas heavy north of East Capo and rough thence southwards; elsewhere moderate but rising in New Zealand waters; strong winds to ■ gales in ‘ the Tasman Sea, easterlies in the northern area and northerlies in. the central and southern areas with generally rough to heavy- seas. . Further rain in the northern districts and unsettled; cloudy and misty weather, gradually spreading "—' the Dominion- and rain developing in most districts with some heavy falls.
