Among those who were out were Messrs. W. Scott (deputy master) on Glad Eye; J. J. Waller (huntsman), Pawa; F. Edmonds, Moonlight, and D. Scott, Cossack (hon. whips); Mrs, E. H. Meads, Prudence; Miss Meads, Birkenose; Miss Phyllis Meads, Pippin; Miss K. Bailey, Hat’s Off; Messrs. L. H. Collinson, Bionc; J. Cameron, Aintree; S. J. Bailey, Bismore; A. Stratton, Eedbank; E. Gosling, and W. Anderson. The president of the hunt, Mr. E. A. M'Kenzie, proposed a vote of thanks to those ladies, and to the property owner, which was carried with cheers, and to which Mr. Walter Scott replied on behalf of the hostesses and the property owners. Before dispersing, the company indulged in dancing to music kindly contributed by Miss Gosling. The hounds will hunt at Kairanga on Wednesday next, and at Eangitikci Line on Saturday.
