JAPANESE SHIPPING DISPUTE COMPROMISED

A compromise has been reached on the dispute whereby three hundred-non-conference steamers have been hold up awaiting a decision on the wages’ issue, tho owners having re fused tho demands. ■ Tho compromise is considered a seamen’s victory.
