OAMARU COUNCILLOR DROPS DEAD IN STREET
Per Press Association. OAMARU, Last Night. Councillor Robert Mahan, aged 66, dropped dead in the street on his way to lunch to-day. He was long associated with volunteering and rose to a position of Major of the North Otago Battalion. He was also past master of the Lodge Waitaki of Masons.
