YE OLDE ENGLISHE FAIRE
Yesterday afternoon and last night ‘•‘Ye Olds Englishe Fake” at the Cuba Street Methodist Sunday schoolroom in aid of the Pipe Organ Fund continued to attract many patrons. The Fair will continue, this afternoon and will conclude in the evening when the final of the tug-of-war competition will be held. An additional attraction last night was the House of Nonscnc in charge of Messrs J. Knowles and T. Twigg, who did great business. Competition winners yesterday and last night were: Men’s nail-driving, Mr J. Keat; ladies’ nail-driving, Miss D. Morgan; gentlemen’s hat trimming, Mr J. Spooner; cake guessing, Miss B. Keat and Master Tony Fisher ,tic; decorated pram, Miss Grace; sugar bag sewing, Mrs M. A. Pitcher.
