FIRE DAMAGES OLD NAPIER FIRE STATION
Per Press Association. NAPIER, Last Night. Napier’s old fire station was damaged by fire this morning, the building only being saved by tho good work of tho brigade. The building, which was owned by" the City Council, was insured for £BOO. Mr. J. Stewart occupied tho lower portion as a garage, his plant being damaged beyond use; he was insured for £4OO. The first floor was occupied by the shirt factory of Mr. E. Arnold and by other firms. The material on hand escaped serious damage.
