THE TIVOLI
LAURA LA PLANTE. Silk Stockings is the picture showing to-night at the Tivoli, and it is a real farce comedy. Ho loved her, but she moved away when she found a pair of strange silk stockings in his coat pocket, but that isn’t all—because after she had got her divorce she found that wasn’t what she wanted, and that isn’t all because she couldn’t bo happy after he moved away so she followed him here and she followed him there, but that wasn’t all, for the rest of the story is what makes the sheerest kind of light comedy in a picture crowded tight with humorous entertainment. John Harron is the loading man. Just listen to what Laura says about him. “Johnny Harron,” she said, “is my idea of the ideal leading mail. He is naive, youthful and intensely interested in his work, and I predict that ho will go a long way on the screen.” You arc advised to see the Laura La Plante Bilk Stockings Display at Cobbe’s. ft is an achievement made by the well known artist Mr. H. Harford.
The third series of the Collegians will also be shown, and a good one it; is 100. To-morrow a lucky matinee will be held at 3,d0 p.m.
