CHEAP PETROL FOR BOROUGH BUSES
At last night’s meeting of the Borough Council the undermentioned firms wrote offering to supply motor spirit and gasolene at the following prices:—
Combined Buyers: Motor spirit, 1/11J per gallon; gasolene, 1/91 per gallon; delivered into tanks at the depot. Vacuum Oil Co.: Plume motor spirit, 1/lli per gallon; Voco petrol, 1/9J per gallon. It was resolved that the Coxmcil be recommended to continue to purchase its petrol supplies for the ensuing year from the Combined Buyers at the rate stated.
