"The question of London Traffic is a desperate problem, and the greatest loss to the city is that from delay and congestion on the streets,” said Mr. E. Pick, of the L.Cr.O.C. and the Underground Railways at the annual dinner cf the London Cartage and Haulage Contractors’ Provident Institution. "The London General Omnibus Co. lost in actual out-of pocket expenses £1,000,000 a year through this cause. "If wo could run our omnibuses as scheduled, we should be that amount bettor off at the end of the year.”
