PALMERSTON NORTH’S NARROW VICTORY.

Ten points only separated the Palmerston North and Feilding at tho conclusion of Saturday's interclub rink contest, the aggregate scores being 113 (Palmerston North) and ,103 (Feilding). As the scores indicate there were many close games while two were of a somewhat remarkable nature. G. Wilson’s rink reached 13 points with a good lead of their opponents. There they stuck however, to let tho Feilding players skipped by Herdman, to romp home 21—14. It will thus be seen that Wilson only managed to add a single point after having been held up on the unlucky number. In the game between rinks skipped by Tasker and Williamson, there were no less than 18 single-point heads while the remaining 3 heads, produced two’s. .
