GRAND CONCERT AT CUBA STREET HALL
For variety, and general excellence the grand concert announced for Wednesday evening in:.the Cuba Street Methodist Hall, should rank as one of the choicest offered for many a long day. The promoters 'have gone out of their way, find have aimed at the widest variety and originality consistent with artistic merit, -A warm welcome is sure to greet Mr. Alf. Kingston, of Fcikling, one <?f the cleverest humourists on this .coast. On the lighter side he will bo supported by another clover laughter-maker in the person of Mr. Farmer. Miss Flu Hancock, A.T.C.L., needs no introduction. Her finished art is always sure of a warm welcome. Heading the list of vocalists arc Miss Naonui Whglley and Mr. Wm. Watters, who will appear in a duct, while Miss Arini Ashworth and Mr. Blair Tennent arc sure to please. New to Palmerston North is Mr. H. G. Leng-Ward (baritone), while Miss Eleanor Gunter will render a pianoforte solo. The popular instrumental trio (Misses Muirhead, M'Kcnzic, and Howlcy) arc down for two items, and Mr. It. H. F. Grace will mystify with his magic.
