NOTES OF THE DAY
The annual flower and produce show in aid of the Church of England parochial funds'is to be held in the Kiwitea Hall on Saturday next. The Fcilding branch of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union have organized a garden party to be held on ; Friday next, to celebrate the first- anniversary of tho branch. Mr. and Mrs. Fair, Mayor and Mayoress, are generously lending their house, Denbigh street, for' the function, which promises to be most enjoyable. Members and their friends will have an opportunity of meeting Mrs. Poison, Dominion president, who will be the guest of the Fcilding branch for this special occasion. " .' ‘
