“YOUTH MOVEMENTS OF TO-DAY”

ADDRESS BY MR. DONALD GRANT, M.A.

“Youth Movements of To-day” is th e subject of an address to b e given in the Oddfellows’ Hall to-night. The speaker will be Mr Donald Grant, M.A., th e General Secretary of the New ’ Zealand Student Christian Movement. Mr Grant is a graduate of Edinburgh University, and tor a. time a secretary of the Student Movement of Great Britain and Ireland. After the‘wa r he was appointed an organiser of relief work in Europe. Though his headquarters were in Vienna, h e travelled all over Europe studying the political and economic conditions, especially as they affected students. Much of his work was concerned with Russian refugee students and he was one of the first relief workers to enter Russia. Mr. Grant’s services have been eagerly sought by many institutions and organisations in Now Zealand, and as an enthusiastic mcmbc r of the Executive Committee of the National Missionary Council, the National Council for Religious Education, the League of Nations Union, International Student Service and the Institute of Pacific Relations ho is ginerously sharing his knowledge and experience with us. Admission to this meeting is free, but a collection will be taken up for tho funds of the New Zealand Student Christian Movement. Mr. H. Mclntyre will bo in th 0 chair.
