NO NOURISHMENT, UNCONSCIOUS ALL NIGHT. • • [By Electric Cable-Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable* Association.] BERLIN. April 5. A message from Bucharest states that King Ferdinand is dying. He has taken no nourishment for 20 hours and has been unconscious all night. CORRESPONDENT ORDERED OUT OP COUNTRY. LONDON, April 5, The mystery of King Ferdinand’s illness, which has been the subject alternatively of the gravest reports and sharp denials, has had a curious sequel. Mr. Gedge, the "Daily Express’s” special correspondent in Bucharest, has been ordered to leave Roumania within 24 hours, otherwise he will be forcibly escorted to the frontier by gendarmes, which the Chief of Police, in communicating his decision, described as a "very painful process.” Mr. Gedge attempted to telegraph a statement to M. Averscu, who has assumed dictatorial powers to cope with the possible circumstances in case of King’s Ferdinand’s death. The Royal Family spent the day at the King's bedside.
