OROUA V. WANGANUI EAST. The Wanganui East Club paid a return visit to the Oroua:'green on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Willis, President of the visiting club, presented a cup to be competed for annually by the two clubs. The trophy was received with enthusiasm and Mr. Goodbehere returned thanks. The visitors won the first match by 124 to 119. Following were the results: Pagan. Pearce, Oakley, Roach (s.) 14 v. Stewart’s rink. 22. Young, Andrews, Miles, McLean (s.) 22 v. Scrivener, 9. Simpson. Jeffs (a.> 8 v. Beckett, 38. Three games for the Bartholomew Shield were also played on Saturday: Hayworth, Taylor. Cook (a.) 23 beat Barltrop. Way, Wilkinson (3.) 10; W.
