CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
MEETJtN G OF COMMITTEE. The committee of the Feilding Chamber of Commerce met on Monday evening, when the president, Mr. V. E. Smith, presided. A letter was received from Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., asking for the assistance of the Chamber in respect to forming a League in Palmerston North re the Agricultural College. The chairman was appointed to act as the Feilding delegate and authorised 1o support the League. A communication was received from the .Ministers of Railways informing the Chamber of the Government's decision to establish district advisory boards to deal with railway matters in order to create a, better understanding between (he Railway Department and the users of the railway. The president was appointed to represent the Chamber at the next conference.
