A SMALL I,OSS. The annual general meeting of shareholders of the Bay of Plenty Bacon and Cold Storage Co. was hold at Tauranga on Thursday, Mr C. E. Macmillan, M.P., presiding. A comparison with last year’s accounts showed that over Id per 11) more was paid for pork. The sales totalled £17,843 7s I’d, The operations for the year resulted in the loss of £125 Is lid. It was decided that the building and plant bo leased for 12 months, the lease to be terminable after six months by three months’ notice on either side. Messrs N. rtlomquist and E. J. Swann, the retiring directors, were rc-olectod unopposed. Mr C. Lowe was rc-appointed auditor.
