Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North,, report having a very good yarding of cattle and a moderate entry of sheep at their Bulls sale, on Monday, November 1. There was a very keen demand for fat sheep and a fair enquiry for cattle, and practically the whole of tho yarding changed hands. Quotations: Fat woolly owes, 31s; extra good, to 345; light fat woolly wethers. 32s Id; fat hoggets, 21s Td, 225, 24s 3d; yearling Jersey cross heifers, £2 7s ‘id to £3; 2-year-old heifers, £3 ss; store cows, £2, £2 6s. £2 10s; small yearling floors, £2 11s; cows and calves, £3 17s (id: empty Hereford cows, £3 13s; 21-yr. steers, £5 17s (id; rough 2-yr. steers, £3 17s Cd to £4; springing heifers, £4, £5 ss, £6 10s, £7, £3 to £S 10s; light fat cows, £(i 7s fid; light fat bullocks, £9 Is; fat cows. £s 12s fid: fat bullocks, £ll 12s (id; Jersey bulls, £3, £5, £7, £S Ss, £S 10s to £9 10s; wcancr pigs, Ifis Cd. 20s 6d, 21s.
