FRENCH TRAIN ACCIDENTS
NERVOUS MAIL-SORTERS. POSITION OP POSTAL VANS. LONDON, Oct. 16. The Paris correspondent of the Times reports that the frequency ot train smashes in Prance has made mail-sorters so nervous that they have refused to work in vans next to the engines. The companies protest that the change demanded would involve heavy shunting delays, but the union is upholding the sorters.
