After discussing the matter with the members of the deputation the Board decided la vote the sum of £8 ids towards the cost nf the work. The lender of Mr. V. I. Morphy for the erect ion of the swimming baths for |he sum of C3SS was accepted on certain conditions, and Mr. Hesselthm was appointed to draw tip sperm Heat ions and prepare the contract forms. It was resolved as follows:: Thai Mr. A. W. Gray he (subject to his consent i appointed to (ill the vacancy on tin- Board created by the departure from the district of Air. C. A. L. Hniif h. That Messrs. Hair and Richardson he empowered to operate on the Board's bank account. That swings for children lie erected on the reserve on I'lygor street and a, sand pit provided. Accounts amounting to £1 Lis 2d were passed for payment.
