STREET ACCIDENT
MOTOR CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE. A collision between a motor-car driven by Mrs. Pea.rson, of Cunninghams, and a motor truck, occurred opposite the Bank of Australasia on Friday evening at about 6 o'clock. It appears that Mrs. Pearson was proceeding down Manchester street with the object of turning into Kimbolton road, and when opposite the bank premises a light motor lorry coming from the direction of the Feilding Hotel, hit the car. A misunderstanding as to the direction the lorry driver was taking, caused confusion, and the resultant accident. No serious damage was done.
