EUCHRE TOURNAMENT
There was a good attendance at the usual weekly euchre tournament held under the auspices of the M.U., 1.0.0. F. last evening. Play was indulged in until 10.30 p.m., when a tasty supper was served by (he committee Prizes were won as follow. Ladies; Mrs Davis (701 b bag of sugar); Mrs Olsen CiTHb bag of flour); Mis Spencer (1 bag of coall; Mrs Morrisson (tin of tea); Mrs Zimmerman (1 box toilet soaps); Mrs R. Jones (box of stationery). Gents: Mr Rennie (J-ton of coal); Mr Gedson (251 b bag of flour); Mr Bird (1 bag of coal); Mr Jones (50 cigarettes); Mr Berdcbes (pocket knife); Mr Pcttcrson (box of stationery). During the evening, the Points Prizes (which were played for during tlie season) were awarded, the prize winners being Mrs 11. Davis, who received an afternoon tea service, and Mr Tantrum who received a gentleman’s toilet set. The guessing competition for the Birthday Cake was won by Mrs R. Jones, whoso guess was libs l3ozs, the weight the cake being libs ISlozs.
