N.Z. DAIRY BOARD’S ADVICE. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received tho following cablegram from its London office, dated October 9, 1926:—• Butter. • Now Zealand, 147 s to 150 s; unsaltcd, IGGs to IGSs. Market continues weak, buyers attempting push prices lower, and with absence demand gradually sliding back. Consumption moderate, largely secondary qualities. Miners' strike still continues, further affecting general industrial position. Weather still favourable production, but indications Irish shrinking. Prices: Australian. 144 sto 150 s; Canadian. 146 s to 148 s; Argentine, 150 s to 156 s unsalted: Irish, 152 s to 1545; Dutch, 172 s to 1745; Esthonian 14Rs to 150 s; Siberian, 130 s to 1345: Danish. 182 sto 184 s. Multiple shops reducing retail New Zealand is 7d Monday. Danish uncha.nged, Is 9d. America, 46 cents, equal 156 s6d landed free duty. Reports indicate good demand, anticipate gradual decline. Montreal unchanged. Germany not yet buying this market. Considerable stock Inferior quality butter. Cheese. New' Zealand white, coloured, S2s. 84s. Canadian 84s, 86s spot, S4s Gd c.i.f. Market dead quiet; little business doing. New Zealand lower than Canadian owing condition. Estimated stock October Ist in United Kingdom: Canadian 207,300 boxes: New Zealand, 41,350 crates; compared same date last year, Canadian 221,200, Now Zealand 6650. Montreal stocks 362,359 boxes, afloat 140.000; total 502,359, compared last year's total 437,285. Total stocks 4500 tons over last year. The board has also received tho following advice from its Canadian agents:—Butter: Vancouver 34 cents (Is Sd), San Francisco 44 cents (Is 10s), New York 461 cents (Is Hid). Cheese: Now York 17 cents (Bid).
