SUPPOSED ATTEMPTED MURDER
[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Last Night.
John W. Ashworth-Chad wick, a middle-aged man who kept a bookbcllor’s shop near the Botanical Gardens. was admitted to hospital at 1.30 p.m. to-day, suffering from a severe gash in the throat, which is presumed to have been self-inflicted.
