OBITUARY
MRS. EMILY NOBLE. The death occurred on Friday night of Mrs. Emily Noble, aged 83 years, one of Feilding's early settlors. The late Mrs. Noble with her husband and two children came out to take par/ in the settlement of the Manchester Block in 18 74 and the family have resided in Feilding ever since. Mr Noble died some thirty-five years ago and the five remaining members of the family are Messrs. George, Joseph and Jack (of Feilding), Mrs. Came (Christchurch), and Mrs. Wilson (IJanncvirke).
