IMPRISONED ON A TREE
Many curious objects have been found embedded in trees, lull U» 11 recent discovery of a sickle is probably unique. Tills object was found by workmen employed in sawmills at Wolvcrton. While engaged in sawing an elm into planks, a complete sickle was found in the heart of the tree. Tip. elm was grown in Bedfordshire and is estimated to be about 90 years old.
