HOCKEY
HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS' CLUB. The annual meeting of the High School Old Girls’ Hockey Club was held last evening, there being a large attendance of members. The annual report stated that the year had proved most successful, the Club winning both-fire Saturday and Wednesday competitions, and also, association seven-asidef tournament. The election of officers resulted; — President, Miss C. B. Mills; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames Oram, Murray, Aitchison, Hodder, Misses Slmkin and Hodges, and Messrs, Tanner, McMinn, and C. Aitchison: ’delegate to the Manawatu Association,, ■•’.Mr. A. E. Blackbourn; ~ captain’, G. McKenzie; vice-captain, D. de Cleene; secretary and treasurer, M. Waters; selection committee, captain, vice-captain and 'secretary, 7 After discussion on the question ol the formation.-bf . a ladies’ separate association, the . following resolution was passed; "That this meeting favours the formation of a separate association to govern ladies’ hockey in the Manawatu district.” It was, decided to start, practices on Saturday week.' 7' ■ 7 T-
