Jolly German Keeps Wolf From Door ABANDON'S CAFE FOE CAGE [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Auat, and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Tuesday, 7 p.m.) BERLIN, March 29. A world’s record fast of forty-four days was established by the German champion faster, named Jolly, while locked in a glass cage. It is estimated three hundred thousand visited him from which he earned £SOOO. He was accorded a great ovation as he left the cage. He was taken to a clinic, where scientists diagnosed the reaction of fasting on the stomach.
