GRAND SPORTS CARNIVAL. rpo be held in the School Grounds X on SATURDAY, 3rd April, Plenty of fun and enjoyment for all. Come and try your skill at motor driving, shooting, running, horsemanship, etc. in the following events; — Good Prizes and Trophies for the winners. Lunch and Afternoon Tea Booth in charge of Waituna Ladies. Admission to Ground .1/-. Boys’ and Girls’ Races. Horse Events: Flag Race, Tilting the Ring, Obstacle Race, Back to Front Trot, etc. Motor Car Events: Musical Chairs, Tilting the Ring for Ladies and Gents, Driving Competition. Pedestrian Events: 100yds and 220 yds Handicaps, Married Men’s and Ladies’ Race, Egg and Spoon Race, for Ladies, Men’s and Ladies’ Relay Race. Other Events: Bicycle Races for Boys, Goal Kicking Competition, Throwing the Cricket Ball, Tug ol War (six men aside), Riding the Bucking Donkey, Chain Stepping, Sheep Guessing, Hop, Step and Jump Pillow Fight, Dribbling the Football Competition, Balloon Bursting, etc. E.
