In a middle-weight contest, Paul Fritsch knocked out Ted Scott, of New Zealand, in the fifth round. Scott was twice floored by hooks to the body. Fritsch forced the fighting throughout, concentrating on body blows. Scott was floored in the fourth round and knocked down tnrico in the fifth. Scott, after a blow over th 0 liver, took the count to seven but gallantly rc-startcd, though only able to stagger. Finally, after taking the count for ten, Scott attempted to continue, but bis seconds forced him to the corner and the fight ended.
