TENNIS TOURNAMENT. [From Our Own Correspondent.) A most enjoyable mixed doubles tourney was held on the courts on March 3 for two trophies, donated by Mr. Shaw. About fifty people were present, and many good and even games were witnessed. Miss G. Morgan and T. Morgan were victorious, the results being as follows; — First round: Miss E. Morgan and D. Saywell v. Miss E. Delhi and A, Shaw, 41 —23; Miss G. Morgan and T. Morgan v. Miss C. Meads and H. Haythorne, 41—29; Mrs. McGuinness and A. Huston v. Mrs. Haythorne ana S. Meads, 41 —40: Miss C. Martin a:|d H. Haythorne v. Miss R. Parker and A. Shaw, 41—34; Miss B. Morgan and J. Morgan v. Miss M. Parker and A. Huston, 41—26. Semi-final: Miss G. Morgan and T. Morgan v. Miss E. Morgan and D. Saywell. 41—31; Mrs. McGuinness and A. Huston v. Miss B. Morgan and J. Morgan, 41—40; Miss G. Morgan and T. Morgan v. Miss C. Martin arid H. Haythorne, 41—37. Final: Miss M. Morgan and T. Morgan v. Mrs. McGuinness and A. Huston, 41 —40. Haythorne Cup. The match for the Haythorne Cup will take place at A pit) (the Apiti Club being the present holder of the Cup) to-morrow, weather permitting.
