SANDON SPORTS
A final reminder is given all lovers of athletic sports of the meeting to be held at Sandon on Saturday next. All classes of sport are well catered for and the response on the part of competitors is very satisfactory. Numerous enquiries have been received for programme of Highland events and competition in these classes will be keen. The horse events also promise to fill well and some of the best hunters in the district are expected to be competing. The comfortable grandstand which has been erected through the efforts of Club members will be appreciated by the public. The running and cycling track is in first-class order and will compare favourably with those of larger towns. The charges for admission are low; gate 1/- for adults (primary school children free); grandstand, adults 1/-; children 6d.
