The population of New Zealand including Maoris, at December 31, 1025, is estimated at 1,401,028 whereof 71(5,270 arc males and/ 084 749 are females.
riie corresponding Cook, Nino and other islands figures are 13.88;;. 7,000, and 6,814; mandated territory of western Samoa 38,820 20,307 and 18,523. The aggregate esti mated for the Dominion, islands and mandated territory 1,453,740, comprising 743,055 males and 710,085 females.
