The seventh round of the Manawatu Croquet Association matches resulted:— Takaro L Fending (on Manawatu greens). Takaro mentioned first: —Mrs. Longstaff (7) lost to Mrs. Jensen (7) 21—26; Mrs. Flint (7) lost to Mrs. Aiken (Si) 21 —26. Mesdnmes Usmar (74) and Ferguson (S) lost to Miss Bartholomew (84) and Mrs. Billing (9) 13 —26; Miss McFarland (8)) and Miss Tennent (10) won from Mrs. Durrant (!/) and Miss Harrison (9) 26—20. Totals: Takaro 81 points, Foilding 98 points. Foxton v. Manawatu (on Northern groen), Foxton players mentioned first. —Mrs. Woods (6) lost to Mrs. Campbell (4) 9 —36; Mrs. Owen (64) lost to Mrs. Robertson (5) 7—26. Mesclames Ball (84) and Bryant (74) lost to Mesdamcs McDonald [64.) and Davis (7) 10 —26; Mesdamcs Wood and Parkes (84) beat Mcsdames Fuller (6) and Spring (6) 26 4. Totals: Foxton 58, Manawatu 92.
