MANAWATU GOLF CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING MARCH 24, In accordance with the rules of the Manawatu Golf Club, the following officers will retire: —President (P. J. Nathan), two vice-presidents (S. W. Raplcy, Colonel Whyte), captain (H. L. Young),, honorary secretary (L. A. Abraham), honorary treasurer (E. V. Spear), and also two members of the committee (Martyn Abraham and H. R. Cooper). All are elirible tor re-election at the annual meeting to be held on the 24th March. Members are requested to note that nominations for same close with Jh.v honorary secretary on Wednesday. March 10. It has been decided to hold the annual tournament on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday immediately'preceding the opening day of the New Zealand championship meeting, which will b e held this year at Miramar, in October, commencing on a Friday. It is thought that a number of golfers will take part in the Manawatu tournament on their way to the New Zealand championship meeting. In fact quite a number have already expressed their intention of being present.
