NAPIER WOOL SALE GOES WELL

18,000 BALES SOLD UNDER THE HAMMER

Prices Advanced on Auckland Rates GROWERS VERY WELL SATISFIED Bidding was spirited and competition keen at the fourth Napier Wool sale yesterday. Prices showed an improvement on Auckland rates and growers generally were very Well satisfied. [Pet Press Association. J NAPIBtt, Last Night. Ninety per eent. of a catalogue of about 20,000 bales was sold undsr the hammer at the fourth wool sale df the season in ‘Napiet: to-day, wMn prices, taken all round, showed an improvement of par to half-penny an Auckland rates. Bidding was particularly spirited and competition keen. Poe good classes of wool, America operated freely at advanced limits, Bradford a strong competitor for topmaking sorts, whilst the Continent pushed prices or pieces add bellies.
